The Hope Portal, a collaboration by KBI Biopharma and Coalition Against Childhood Cancer

A persistent challenge for patient families, social workers, nurses, and child-life specialists is finding access to the right patient assistance resources. Online information has not been consolidated or organized in useful ways, and patient families often feel isolated and unsupported throughout treatment, survivorship, and bereavement as a result.
In order to address these challenges, KBI Biopharma partnered with the Coalition Against Childhood Cancer (CAC2) to develop the Hope Portal, a scalable online tool for the childhood cancer community.
- For patient families, the Hope Portal provides a single-source of resources and the support needed to find help. Patient families are finding financial assistance for bills, information about their diagnosis, and even support groups in their area.
- For non-profits, the Hope Portal provides a communication channel for promoting their services directly to the specific patient families they support, while additionally providing tools to help them manage support volumes, resources, and referral opportunities.
The Hope Portal is powered by Anddit, a web-based technology platform developed by KBI Biopharma's Impact Team. The Impact Team at KBI remains dedicated to improving the Hope Portal and will continue to work towards enriching the lives of patients, their families, and their communities.
