David Berger

Senior Vice President and General Counsel

David serves as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at KBI Biopharma, bringing more than 25 years of experience in legal, compliance, regulatory, and business leadership across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences industries. Throughout his career, he has held senior executive and general counsel roles, advised boards of directors and executive leadership teams, led complex mergers and acquisitions, built high-performing legal and compliance organizations, and guided global companies through significant growth, transformation, and strategic change.

Before joining KBI, David served as General Counsel for Hikma Pharmaceuticals, Lonza, and Sterilray. He also held senior legal leadership positions at Actavis, Gilead, and other leading life sciences organizations.

David earned his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the Washington College of Law at American University and his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Villanova University.
